Local Handyman Takes on Home Improvement Projects Single-handedly

Local Handyman has been hard at work getting the world back in order with DIY home improvement projects for years now. But he’s never done it single-handedly before. Recently, though, his business has expanded to the point that it’s become necessary to take on multiple projects at once. And that requires hiring some employees to get the job done right. In this post, Local Handyman talks about some of the ways he’s found success doing that, and how you can hire successfully too!

Being both handy and local to the area. I have been taking on home improvement projects single-handedly and keeping busy helping other homeowners fix or improve their homes. I get the jobs done right because I take my time and do things right the first time. Regardless of what amount of time it requires for me to hit the nail on the head. My motto is If you’re going to do something, do it right, and I stand by that motto every day.

Kitchen Remodel

I had always wanted to remodel my kitchen, but I never had the time or money. It was such a relief when the Local Handyman told me he could do it all himself. He did the entire thing in just two days! He also painted my whole house and installed some new hardware for me. I can’t believe how quickly and cheaply everything turned out. I can’t wait to show off my new kitchen to everyone! He redid my backyard too – adding a patio and new decking. That’s going to look so pretty come springtime. We even repaved the driveway together with one of his handy concrete sealant products.

Local Handyman is absolutely amazing at what he does – you need him if you’re looking for any type of home improvement project around town. He’ll be coming back soon to fix up my laundry room after it flooded last week. If you need help call him up, I’m sure he’ll have time!

Bathroom Renovation

One of the most common home improvement projects that homeowners take on is exterior painting. The task of painting an entire house can seem daunting. But it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few steps to help make sure you don’t miss any spots:

1) Put some drop clothes down in your work area. These will protect your surfaces from any paint drips and will also keep your car clean. When you have to park it outside while the paint dries. They’re also great for getting rid of all those little bits of dirt and dust that inevitably get tracked in during the process.

2) Before you start, pick a day with nice weather. So you can put up tarps and step ladders if need be to avoid ruining them from rain or snow.

Interior Painting

Painting can be a daunting task to take on yourself, and it can be costly if you don’t plan. It’s also important to choose the right colors for your home. There are a few things to keep in mind when choosing paint colors, such as what colors you already have in the room. How much natural light comes into the room during various times of day, and what time of year it is?

If you’re not sure where to start, try painting one small space first. This will give you an idea of what colors work well together, and what type of paint to use (latex or oil). And how long the paint takes to dry before moving on to another area.

 Exterior Painting

The exterior of your home is the first thing people see when they drive up to your house. This is why many people like to invest in having it painted for curb appeal. And to protect the paint from fading in the sun, an exterior paint job can be a pretty expensive project. So it’s important you hire someone who knows what they’re doing and will do a quality job. That’s where Local Handyman comes in! Local Handyman is my go-to guy for all things related to painting homes. I started working with him after my last painter did an absolutely terrible job and ruined my home with streaks everywhere. Let me tell you, Charles fixed that right up and I’ve been using him ever since.

Landscaping

When landscaping, the most important detail is to start with the big picture and work your way down to the smaller details. The first step is choosing your plants. From small and round to tall, leafy shrubs, there are many types of plants that you can choose from. You can even go for a more exotic landscape by adding palm trees or other foreign plants.

The next step is adding some other type of ground cover over the dirt to provide nutrients for the plant. And give it a nice base to grow from, add just enough soil so that it’s level. Where you want your plant’s root system to be; will give them enough room to grow without being confined in small space.
