About Amber Fort

About Hawa Mahal
A stunning display of the architectural excellence that was the norm in the old days, Hawa Mahal is a must-see tourist attraction in Jaipur. The Mahal was built under the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. In keeping with the name it was named the ‘Palace to the Winds the Hawa Mahal features 953 windows that provide air circulation.
